Amanda Muzzi
Originally from England, Amanda has lived in the Santa Cruz area for over 22 years. Starting her fitness career 26 years ago teaching land aerobics classes, she made the switch to water and has been teaching that for the last 18 years. We are excited to have her on staff here teaching stretch classes as well as water aerobics. She is also available for private sessions in the water. This is an excellent way to have your form checked to make sure you are getting the maximum benefit in class, get comfortable in order to take classes, or to have your specific physical needs met.
Gloria Walker
Gloria’s positive energy and love for the water just radiates from her. She specializes in every form of water exercise with experience in shallow and deep water training (including toning, strength and cardio), prenatal, stretch water yoga, and deep water running, weight issues, seniors, and limited range of motion. She holds many certifications including Aquatic Instructor.
Patrick Hindsley
Patrick has worked in the fitness industry since 2007. Overweight most of he life, he has lost over 100 pounds with dedication to exercise! He knows how it feels to push past barriers and reach ideal goals. With a passion for weight training; Patrick can help you improve your fitness level. Genuinely interested in helping people, he especially enjoys training first time exercisers with becoming more comfortable in the “gym” setting. He understands the struggle of starting a healthy lifestyle and can help you positively embrace it with realistic goals. He is certified by National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Mary Doyle
Mary has been in the Fitness Industry for over 14 years; Personal Training and teaching classes, everything from chair classes to kickboxing. She has worked with all ages, from preteens to seniors, assisting with weight loss and maintenance, injury rehabilitation, strength gain, balance and flexibility. She is certified by the American Council on Exercise.
Mike Bodge
Mike has over 20 years of fitness experience including certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Council on Exercise. He is an expert in strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular training. He is a firm believer that fitness will improve all aspects and quality of your life. The keys to success in fitness training are motivation, education, safety, and fun! Mike’s accomplishments include Black Belts in Shotokan & Tang Soo Do Karate, National Kickboxing Champion, USA Cycling Coach, and former owner of Body Zone Health Club from 8/1999 -12/2007. Mike enjoys cycling, running, weight training, and reading.
Alli Sunshine Quick
Pura Vida! Energy, awareness, confidence and a complete sense of well being. That’s what I get from exercise, out of my head and into my heart. I truly believe that our body is our vehicle for reaching our destinations. It is important to feed it, maintain it and most of all, honor it. Exercise is very progressive with many variations. It allows you to experience all aspects of what your body has to offer. Having options gives you the ability to stay excited and motivated. I’m here to bring out all of these aspects. My motto: “Get up, dress up and show up.” Keep up that attitude of gratitude and throw in a little of that mind over matter and you’ve got a great antidote to get yourself going. Jeanne Rouff
Jeanne has been in the fitness industry since 2001. She started as an Aerobics Instructor teaching classes ranging from Cardio Kickboxing to Water Pilates. As a professional educator, she holds a Masters in the Art of Teaching and she strives to help each individual set and achieve their fitness goals. As a Personal Trainer, Jeanne will challenge each client through a variety of training methods. She is a compassionate trainer with a background in healing from her own knee and back weaknesses and rheumatoid arthritis. She also has great passion for water exercise and Pilates.
