Paula Saraga
Paula began her somatic journey as a ‘yogi’ (she took yoga classes!) and went on to become a massage practitioner and to study body-oriented psychology. Paula has been teaching yoga for nearly 15 years at various locations including Cabrillo College and Dancenter. A few years ago she began studying functional fitness and received her personal fitness training certification with NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine). Paula has been actively teaching group fitness classes through Cabrillo College’s Community Extension Program.
With the marriage of massage, yoga, psychology and functional fitness training, Paula has developed a unique approach to working with people and their bodies. Paula enjoys working with all shapes, ages and genders focusing on precise form and alignment. She often can be heard saying “its about quality, not quantity.” And, in addition to this focused precision, she also brings an attitude of play and FUN!
